  The Bank Of Thailand History And Records Room 
BOT Hitory 

                     Located on the second floor in the North Wing, the Bank of Thailand History and Records Room is graced with a stained glass panel featuring the image of Phra Sayaam Thewathiraat (Guardian Angel of Siam) used as the Bank of Thailand Insignia with a description plaque. Proceeding further inside and with a little help from a delightful Magic Vision presentation, visitors are welcome by the present Governor of BOT who will introduce the exhibits in this room. The history and development of the Bank of Thailand is presented by a timeline. Highlights of the exhibit include the Silver Trowell used by Princess Sirindhorn at the Inauguaration Ceremony of the new Headquarters Building, Commemorative Coins on the occasion of the establishment of 3 Regional Offices.

 

               Learning games such as “Safe Well Live Well”, “Good Words For the Mind”, “Baht Value Assessment” and 5 episodes of 2-D animations to convey knowledge about productions and issuance of bank notes as well as payment methods. 

 

  

The Chirdchukiart Room
         
Next to the BOT History and Records Room, the Chirdchukiart Room exhibits biographies and works of BOT governors from the first to the present with the use of computer kiosks and video presentations including interviews with the 10 governors who are still alive. Visitors will enjoy the privilege of listening to keynote speeches and viewing a film on BOT history as well as signature items of all BOT governors.
