Near the Blue Room, the Wiwattana Chaiyanusorn Room was designed to be the bedroom of Mom Chao Prasomsong (Prince Boribhat’s wife). When the Bank of Thailand turned the Mansion of Bang Khunphrom Palace into its office, the room became the office of the Bank’s governers – from Prince Wiwattanachai, the first governer who was Mom Chao Prasomsong’s brother and all his successors to the Bank’s 10th governer Mr. Nukul Prachuabmor.

The wall cabinet installed in this room was exclusively designed by Prince Wiwattanachai himself proven by the hand-drawn sketch published in one of the Bank of Thailand’s chronicles. |
