During World War II, some banknotes outside the regular series of notes were issued. However, these notes were finally used in the same manner as those normally circulated. These notes had different characteristics, so they did not fit into any particular type. They were printed in England, Indonesia, and by the Royal Thai Survey Department. There were 4 denominations: 50 satang, 1, 50, and 1000 Baht. They had been issued in 1942.
