Bank of Thailand, Northern Region Office is responsible for monitoring and analyzing economic conditions of northern region, neighboring countries especially the Union of Myanmar and Yunan Province , as well as, following up the Greatest Mekong Sub-region (GMS) progress, survey business's performance and monetary policy's effect, disseminating information to public through an economic conditions report, a neighboring countries economic and GMS report and press release.
