  Redemption of debt securities

After the debt securities reach maturity, they earn no interest. The holder can receive the principal amount according to the following cases:

1) In a case where debt securities of any type are deposited with the Thailand’s Securities Depository (TSD), the BOT will transfer fund to bank account according to the information obtained from the TSD. If you have any question, please contact your broker or custodian.

2) In case of debt securities with a tenor of more than 1 year such as savings bond or state enterprise bond, the BOT will send a Principal Redemption Form by mail before redemption date to the holders so that they can follow the instructions for redemption procedure attached therewith.

3) In case of debt securities with a tenor of not more than 1 year such as treasury bill or Bank of Thailand bond, please fill out the form according to the instructions for form completion.
