Bank of Thailand Library and Archives is a special library, providing information services on economics, finance, banking, Bank of Thailand information along with central banks information worldwide. The Library itself was formed around 2489 B.E. from the personal book collection of H.H. Prince Vivadhanajaya, the first governor. In the year 2496 B.E. the Library was established formally with librarians in charge. The Library has its own development and innovations afterwards, until now known as Library and Archives.
In addition to Library and Archives which situated at the head office building in Bangkok, researchers or users up country who would like to acquire financial or banking information can access library services from Bank of Thailand regional branches libraries as well.
