Bulk Payment System
Bulk Payment System has been designed to support retail funds transfer for large volume with a regular recurring payment period.

Bulk Payment System

Bulk Payment System is the convenient means of payment for a customer in making inter-bank preauthorized transactions that are large in volume and have a regular recurring payment period. The Bank of Thailand developed and operated the bulk payment system, an off-line retail funds transfer called “Media Clearing” since 1997.  The system was enhanced to transfer data via on-line web technology in 2000 and was renamed to “System for Managing Automated Retail Funds Transfer; SMART” in July, 2002.  Since October 15, 2007, the Bank of Thailand has migrated this service to National ITMX (NITMX).
