The indices include Coincident and Leading Economic Indices, Private Consumption Index, Private Investment Index, Manufacturing Production Index, Capacity Utilization, Housing Price Index, Effective Exchange Rate and Business Sentiment Index.
Money and BankingMoney and banking statistics cover assets and liabilities of financial corporations categorized in accordance with Monetary and Financial Statistics Manual: MFSM2000 of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). They illustrate the issue of money supply in the economy by major depository corporations, e.g. Bank of Thailand, commercial banks, specialized banks, finace companies, saving cooperatives.
Public FinancePublic finance data cover data on financial positions and operations of the government and state-owned enterprises (SOEs). The data comprise of government financial position on cash basis (compliant with Government Finance Statistics Manual of the International Monetary Fund), outstanding debt of the government and, and the operations of non-financial SOEs.
External SectorExternal sector statistics comprises data on transactions and financial positions between residents and non-residents, reflecting economic phenomena of Thailand’s external sector. Covered in this section are international trade, financial flow (with details on direct and portfolio investment of non-bank sector), balance of payments, international reserves, external debt, and international investment position (IIP).
Real SectorReal sector statistics cover data and indicators of production in both agricultural and industrial sectors, gross domestic products (GDP), private investment and consumption, wholesale and consumer price indices / inflation, employment and data on real estate businesses.
