Public finance data cover data on financial positions and operations of the government and state-owned enterprises (SOEs). The data comprise of (i) Statement of Sources and Uses of Cash;(ii) Government Expense;(iii)Outstanding of Financial Assets and Liabilities of the Government .These data were based on cash basis (compliant with Government Finance Statistics Manual : GFSM 2001 of the International Monetary Fund); (iv) Outstanding debt of the government and SOEs (classified by holder, instrument and remaining maturity); and(v) The operations of non-financial SOEs. As for all fiscal statistics on accrual basis in accordance with the GFSM 2001, data are compiled by the Fiscal Policy Office and can be accessed through Ministry of Finance’s website.

"BOT will release Government finance statistics based on GFSM 2001, New tables will be shown under Public Finance : EC_PF_009 - EC_PF_013. First dissemination is scheduled on November 30, 2011"
