Mr. Ronadol Numnonda, Deputy Governor, Financial Institutions Stability, the Bank of Thailand, and Mr. Kobsak Duangdee, Secretary General, the Thai Bankers’ Association, delivered their opening remarks at the CLMVT Bankers’ Leadership Program yesterday. The Program, in its second year, is jointly organized by the two organizations at Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit under the theme “Innovation in Financial Services” during 4 – 8 October 2018.
The CLMVT Bankers’ Leadership Program serves as a high – level platform for executives in financial sector from Cambodia, Lao P.D.R., Myanmar, Vietnam and Thailand to share and learn experiences from each other, especially on how to develop a well – functioning and resilient financial system to keep pace with the emergence of disruptive technology and support immense potential growth of our sub-region. Throughout this program, a stronger network will be fostered together with knowledge horizon broadened, which will lead to greater financial connectivity as well as enhanced economic cooperation in many other aspects to ensure sustainable growth of our region.
