Project DLT Scripless Bond: Investing in Thailand’s future Transforming the securities markets infrastructure with blockchain

The BOT has initiated a pilot project by collaborating with related organizations including the Public Debt Management Office (PDMO), Thailand Securities Depository (TSD), The Thai Bond Market Association (ThaiBMA) and selling agents consist of Bangkok Bank, Kasikorn Bank, Krungthai Bank and Siam Commercial Bank by conducting proof of concepts (POC) using distributed ledger technology (DLT) or blockchain technology for transforming government saving bonds issuance, distribution and sales. The project could potentially be put forward for developing Thailand's market infrastructure for government and securities markets in the near future.

Fully subscribed : Issuing Additional (No.2) Savings Bonds during 17 Dec 2018 - 29 Mar 2019
The Ministry of Finance issues additional (No.2) The Ministry of Finance's Savings Bonds FY. B.E. 2562 No.1 (Scripless) worth 5,000 ml. baht during 8.30 a.m. on 17 December 2018 until 15.00 p.m. on 29 March 2019. The bonds have maturity of
       3 years 1 month with fix coupon : 2.46% p.a. 
       7 years 1 month with fix coupon : 3.00% p.a.
The minimum purchase is 1,000 baht (1 unit) – the maximum limited at 2,000,000 baht (2,000 units) per selling bank for each person.
