      For Islamic Bank of Thailand, extra holidays are given for Eidal – Fitr Day (Ramadan Day), Eidal – Adha Day (Raya Hajji Day) announced by the Sheikhul Islam Office if the date does not fall on any of holidays listed above or Saturday and Sunday. 

     For financial institutions and special financial institutions branches in Narathiwat, Pattani, Yala, Satun, and Songkhla, extra holidays are given for Eidal – Fitr Day (Ramadan Day), Eidal – Adha Day (Raya Hajji Day) announced by the Sheikhul Islam Office, and the Chinese New Year Day if the date does not fall on any of holidays listed above or Saturday and Sunday.

Remarks: 

The cancellation of financial institutions and special financial institutions’ holidays: 
1. The Mid-Year Closing Day holiday (1st July) is canceled from B.E. 2562 (2019) onwards.
2. For Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives, the additional holiday (1st April) is canceled from B.E. 2565 (2022) onwards.

 As financial institutions now have a more efficient financial statement system, which can be operated without affecting the services on all channels of financial institutions, it is not necessary to prescribe as a financial institutions and special financial institutions’ holiday anymore.
