International reserves are external assets held or controlled by the central bank consisting of monetary gold, special drawing rights, reserve positions in the IMF and foreign currency assets. The Bank of Thailand has reported international reserves based on market valuation (mark-to-market basis).
Monetary Base is composed of currency in circulation and deposits of financial institutions at the Central Bank.
