Mrs. Alisara Mahasandana is the Deputy Governor for Corporate Development at the Bank of Thailand. In this role, she oversees various aspects of corporate development, including strategic planning, human resources, risk management, IT, finance, payment infrastructure and note printing, as well as digital currency policy and development.
Prior to her current position, Mrs. Alisara was the Deputy Governor for Monetary Stability, where she was responsible for monetary policy and financial markets policy and operations. Her extensive experience in central banking also includes reserve management, foreign exchange administration and international relations. Additionally, Mrs. Alisara was appointed as Executive Director, representing the Southeast Asia Voting Group at the IMF During May 2018-May 2021.
Mrs. Alisara holds a bachelor's degree in accountancy from Chulalongkorn University and an MBA from Pittsburg State University.
