Ms. Pirajit Padmasuta is currently the Assistant Governor of the Financial Consumer Protection and Retail Lending Supervision Group at the Bank of Thailand (BOT), responsible for financial consumer protection and retail lending supervision. She oversees policies and supervisory frameworks that promote responsible business conduct among financial service providers and ensure fair treatment of customers.

Prior to this role, she served as the Senior Director of the Financial Consumer Protection and Examination Department, responsible for supervision and examination of financial service providers, financial literacy promotion, and fair customer treatment initiatives. She has 30 years of experience at the BOT across several key functions, including financial institutions policy, financial consumer protection, supervision and examination of financial service providers, corporate planning and budgeting, human resource management, and enterprise risk management.

Ms. Pirajit received a Bachelor of Economics from Chulalongkorn University and a Master’s degree in Financial Economics from the University of Exeter, United Kingdom.
