Mrs. Vireka Suntapuntu is currently the Assistant Governor Human Resources Management Group at the Bank of Thailand (BOT). The responsibilities include formulating human resources policies and strategies, overseeing organizational and human capital development, as well as managing and executing human resources operations. These efforts aim to drive the Bank of Thailand’s human resource management objectives in alignment with the institution’s core mission.

Mrs. Vireka served as Assistant Governor of the Corporate Service Group, where she managed operations and development within the BOT in areas such as human resources management, procurement, financial accounting, and internal organizational administration. ensuring alignment with BOT policies and international standards to support the core mission of the BOT. Additionally, she also has extensive experience in banking supervision, having been responsible for end‑to‑end supervisory functions ranging from the formulation of supervisory policies, the issuance of licenses and supervisory approvals to financial institutions under the BOT’s supervision, and also the regulation and examination of specialized financial institutions.

Mrs. Vireka graduated with Second-Class honors from the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Thammasat University, Thailand and holds an MBA in Finance from Southwest Missouri State University.
