  • Thailand Taxonomy is a reference tool for economic activities according to environmental objectives, it will support the transition of businesses towards environmental sustainability.
  • Thailand Taxonomy phase 2 includes four sectors: 1) agriculture, including livestock, fisheries, and forestry, (2) building and real estate, (3) manufacturing, and (4) waste management.

Background and purpose


Thailand Taxonomy phase 2 will cover key economic sectors and other environmental objectives.  Businesses and the government can use it as a reference guide to classify environmentally friendly economic activities that align with international standards and the Thai context. Additionally, it can use as a supporting tool for allocating funding, managing risks, private sector investments, and designing government incentives to achieve sustainability and climate change goals.
