Mr. Sethaput Suthiwartnarueput, Governor of the Bank of Thailand, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong, Governor of the State Bank of Viet Nam, together with their delegates participated in a bilateral meeting between the two institutions on 27 September 2024, in Hanoi, Vietnam. The discussion covered topics of macroeconomic and policy challenges, issues related to banking supervision, measures to combat financial fraud, and local currency promotion. The meeting also explored potential initiatives to enhance cooperation between the two central banks.
