Subject Announcement of Special Holidays for Financial Institutions and Specialised Financial Institutions

The Bank of Thailand (BOT) has considered and deemed appropriate to declare holidays for financial institutions and specialised financial institutions for 2 days in the year 2025 which are 2nd June 2025 and 11th August 2025, and a day for the year 2026 which is 2nd January 2026
On 12th November 2024, the Cabinet has announced that 2nd June 2025, 11th August 2025 and 2nd January 2026 are public holidays in order to promote tourism and policy of “Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year 2025” as well as to stimulate overall economy.
The Bank of Thailand (BOT) has considered and deemed appropriate to declare holidays for financial institutions and specialised financial institutions for 2 days in the year 2025 which are 2nd June 2025 and 11th August 2025, and a day for the year 2026 which is 2nd January 2026 to align with the government’s policy.
