The Bank of Thailand Participates in BOAO Forum For Asia 2025 Annual Conference in Hainan, People's Republic of China

On March 27, 2025, Dr. Sethaput Suthiwartnarueput, Governor of the Bank of Thailand, attended the BOAO Forum For Asia 2025 Annual Conference in Hainan Province, People's Republic of China. The Governor participated in a panel discussion on the topic "Pursuing Monetary and Financial Stability in an Unstable World," where he shared his views on the challenges faced by emerging economies in Asia. These challenges create higher economic and financial uncertainties compared to the past. He also discussed monetary policy approaches to address these challenges. Moreover, he also exchanged views on managing public and household debt for sustainable solutions.
