Appointment of Expert Member for the Monetary Policy Committee

Miss Daungporn Rodpengsangkaha, Assistant Secretary to the Board of the Bank of Thailand, announced that the Board made decision on 25th February 2026 to appoint Ms. Sauwanee Thairungroj as an expert member of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC), replacing Mr. Rapee Sucharitakul, who resigned prior to the completion of his term. The appointment takes effect on 26th February 2026 and continues for the remainder of Mr. Rapee Sucharitakul’s term, which ends on 31st October 2026.
