BOT to Release Previously Issued Commemorative Banknotes Honoring Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother

To commemoration the immeasurable benevolence of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, the Bank of Thailand (BOT) will make commemorative banknotes originally issued to mark Her Majesty’s birthday anniversaries in 2004 and 2016 available to the public once again from 1 October 2026 onwards.
The commemorative banknotes can be exchanged at the Bank of Thailand Learning Centre (BOTLC), all branches of the Government Savings Bank (GSB), and designated branches of Krung Thai Bank (KTB). Details are as follows:

The banknotes can be exchanged at face value, subject to a limit of 20 banknotes per denomination per person, to ensure broad public access and provide more people with the opportunity to collect them. The BOT is also preparing commemorative banknotes in honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother and Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati Kromluangrajasarinisiribajra Mahavajrarajadhita. These banknotes are expected to be made availablefor public exchange later in 2026. Further details will be announced in due course.
