Clear Windows

“Clear windows” can be seen through from both sides. The lower clear window exhibits color-shifting effect.

Window with gold metallic

A transparent gold pentagon, located to the right of His Majesty the King’s portrait, is visible from both sides of the banknote. It is printed with gold metallic ink in the shape of a five-petal flower.

Shadow Image

HM the King's portrait shadow image can be clearly observed on both sides when viewing the note against the light.

Magnetic Printed Thread

Magnetic printed thread that contains numerals and letters denoting the banknote’s denomination that can be seen by viewing the design against the light.

  • See-through Register

A completed front and back registered design is printed by a specially designed printing press at the dry offset printing stage. This printing press can print color patterns on both sides of the sheets simultaneously, which can be seen by viewing the design against the light.

Latent Numbers

The hidden Arabic numerals in the elaborate pattern are on the lower center of every banknote. These latent numbers can be seen when the note is viewed from the lower left or right corner towards the middle part of the note.

  • Special Features Visible under the UV Light

The solid distinguishing mark in the middle of banknote, denomination numerals, serial numbers become visible. The fibers embedded in the paper become visible in yellow, red and blue.
