Mrs. Suwanna Chuerboonchai, Secretary of the Bank of Thailand Board announced today (24 May 2023) that the Board has made decision on the appointments and rotations of Bank of Thailand’s senior management, to be effective from 1 October 2023, as follows:  

1. Appoint Mrs. Alisara Mahasandana, Assistant Governor, Financial Markets Operations Group as Deputy Governor, Monetary Stability;

2. Rotate Mr. Amporn Sangmanee, Assistant Governor, Internal Audit Group to be Assistant Governor, Risk Management Group;

3. Rotate Miss Daranee Saeju, Assistant Governor, Risk Management Group to be Assistant Governor, Payment Systems Policy and Financial Consumer Protection Group;

4. Promote Miss Pimpan Charoenkwan, Senior Director of Financial Markets Department to Assistant Governor, Financial Markets Operations Group; and

5. Promote Mrs. Vireka Suntapuntu, Senior Director of Specialized Financial Institutions Supervision and Examination Department to Assistant Governor, Corporate Services Group.
