Announcement of Special Holiday for Financial Institutions and Specialised Financial Institutions

On 24th October 2023, the Cabinet has announced the substitution for New Year’s Eve and additional public holidays in order to stimulate economy.
The Bank of Thailand (BOT) has considered and deemed appropriate to defer the substitution for New Year’s Eve from 2nd January 2024 to 29th December 2023
However, the BOT has decided that financial institutions and specialised financial institutions to provide services as usual on the 30th December 2024 in order not to increase cost to businesses
