Commemorative Banknotes
The portrait of His Majesties King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. The watermark features Her Majesty's crowned monogram "ส.ก." With a special translucent effect, the electrotype letter "ก" is clearly visible from both sides when the banknote is held up to the light. On the lower left of the portrait are the Arabic numeral "80", and Thai numeral "๘๐" at the lower right, printed in brown.
The portrait of Her Majesty in the modern garment situated in the blue oval next to the Royal family image. The other elements, the royal activities are demonstrated by the images of Her Majesty visiting Thai people and making crafts to improve their quality of life and promoting cultural conservation. The windowed security thread is visible on the surface of the paper at regular intervals. Inside each window contains the number "80" and the "rose" image, which will be switched, when the banknote is tilted.
