The new 1000 baht banknote (Series 17) has won “The Best New Banknote Award” at the High Security Printing Asia 2018, the international conference which held in Hanoi, Vietnam. This 1000 baht banknote was awarded for its design and its unique printing technology.
This new 1000 baht banknote features dynamic color-shifting image that creates a moving effect of geometric pattern and changes color from gold to green when the banknote is tilted. The windowed color-shifting security thread changes its color and shows its moving effect when the banknote is tilted.
