Project Background

The Bank of Thailand (BOT) and the Office of the Vocational Education Commission (VEC) have recognized the importance of promoting financial literacy and discipline among vocational college students. Hence, a contest titled “Fin. Dee We Can Do !!!” (Fin. Dee) was introduced under the concept “Created by Vocational Colleges, for the Benefit of Vocational Colleges”. The showcase aims to promote experiential learning by equipping students with essential financial knowledge and skills. This empowers them to become “Change Agents” who can offer financial advice to their peers and lead a sustainable network fostering both financial immunity and literacy among vocational college students.

Join the vocational and fundamental skills competition organized by the Association of Future Thai Professional (AFT.)

Since its launch in 2018, Fin. Dee has engaged over 250 vocational colleges. The showcase has contributed to the development of financial immunity among vocational college students, as evidenced by improved saving behavior that help them achieve more life goals. Moreover, building the platform to showcase ideas facilitates connection and knowledge exchange across institutions.

Fin. Dee, formerly organized by the BOT, has become a part of the national competition for vocational and fundamental skills since 2023. It now operates under the concept “Seeding, Developing Leaders, Paving Ways to the Sustainable Network”.
