Service for Issuing Water and Electricity Records

What is the service for?

This service allows individuals to access and share their water and electricity information including usage and payment records through the “Tang Rat” application. The records can be used as supporting documents when applying for financial services such as loans, from financial institutions. The service is available from 30 June 2025.

This service is part of Project “Your Data”, a collaboration among six organizations: the Bank of Thailand, Digital Government Development Agency (Public Organization), Metropolitan Electricity Authority, Provincial Electricity Authority, Metropolitan Waterworks Authority, and Provincial Waterworks Authority.

The project aims to empower citizens to exercise their rights to digitally share their data securely and conveniently. By enabling individuals to utilize their records, the service helps improve access to financial services, enhance operational efficiency, and encourage competition that will benefit the public.

Benefits for citizens

  • Convenient: Easily request and access to your utility records for the past 6 months all in one place, in digital format.
  • Simple and free: Easily access and receive your utility records quickly, and use them immediately at no cost.
  • Enhanced loan eligibility: Maintaining a record of consistent payment behavior may help strengthen users’ prospects for loan approval.
