dStatement

(Digital Bank Statement)

dStatement is a starting point to the creation of open data ecosystem for the financial industry which will foster innovations on digital financial services, in turn, provide better financial services and greater competition.

What is dStatement?

dStatement service is a financial information exchange service for sending and receiving bank statement data directly between banks in a machine-readable digital format. It allows financial service customers, who need to submit their bank statement as supporting documents, to request and send their bank statement data directly from one bank to another bank using their own mobile banking apps or via other servicing channels.

dStatement

Benefits from dStatement

  • Customers recieve greater convenience and safety in using a bank statement as an evidence to apply for financial services. For example, consumers could submit requests to the bank that they had bank accounts to send their bank statement directly and digitally to other recipient banks where they would like to apply for loans.
  • Banks (recipients of dStatement) reduce the time and steps for verifying accuracy and inputting bank statement information as dStatements are sent in a machine readable format, which cannot be forged and allows for immediate utilization.
