The participants may visit the Payment System ACT B.E. 2560 (2017) and the process of applying for E- Payment license before conducting e-Payment business.
License Application Process
Perform a self assessment whether your business needs license(s) and whether you are qualified to apply
Self-Assessment form Read the "Public Handbook" and relevant Notifications Send an email with business model information according to the "Guidelines on Appointment" to the BOT for an appointment to discuss the business model The BOT will contact and confirm a date and time for the discussion
Discuss with the Bank of Thailand (BOT)
to explain the business model and information system based on the information prepared according to the "Guidelines on Meeting"
Prepared documents for the license application and submit drafts to the BOT for preliminary review (Pre-Approve)
Have a good understanding of the regulations under the Payment Systems Act B.E. 2560 (2017) and other relevant regulations/laws Prepared the accurate and complete documents as "Required Document List" The BOT will accept the submission of complete documents for the consideration once the documents are accurate and complete according to the "Application Consideration Framework"
Submit final documents to the BOT after receiving confirmation from the BOT that all document are complete
The BOT considers the application then the Ministry of Finance considers issuing the license. Total Consideration Time : 60 Business Days
